Watch List: 3 Scouts and Bears to Watch Friday Night
Who do both teams have to keep their eyes on most Friday night? Three players that can change the game for the Scouts and Bears
We move on to Week 5 Friday night as the Scouts host the Lake Zurich Bears.
Lake Zurich is 1-3 after a 29-7 loss to Libertyville in Week 4.
What players could change the game for both teams?
Here are three players for the Scouts and Bears to keep an eye on Friday night.
BEARS WATCH LIST
Jacob Wilk, #75, Senior Offensive Lineman
The best Lake Zurich teams have big fellas up front, and Wilk definitely qualifies as a big fella. Listed at 6-foot-6, 290 pounds, Wilk committed to Western Michigan in June after receiving other MAC and Ivy League offers. Wilk plays left tackle, another competitive opportunity for Lake Forest right end Finn Goodman to add to his Hudl film. The Bears have three other two-year starters along the o-line: seniors Max Maj (6-3, 255), Jacob Clarin (6-2, 220) and Alex Gressick (5-11, 230). Lake Forest’s front has handled good offensive lines thus far in Carmel and Warren and should be able to get upfield pushes and backfield penetration against this group.
